Russia intercepted US surveillance plane: May escalate tensions between countries

A Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-27 ‘Flanker’ fighter intercepted a North American country Air Force police work craft Boeing RC-135 in international airspace at the Baltic last Gregorian calendar month seven, a happening that the United States describes as amateur.

US European Command adds, “to dispel rumors: North American country craft flying IAW ICAO flight rules in intl airspace was intercepted by Russian fighter in unsafe manner Gregorian calendar month seven.”

The Pentagon says the careless and amateur actions of a Russian pilot have the potential to intensify tensions between countries.
